Tracy

Ok well here I am back with another story to remember, and this one is a positive one.
Tracy is another Uber driver down here on the southeast of United States.
I got to meet her because my project leader had recommended her. We are currently assigned to a project in a small City with a small airport meaning fewer options for flights. That is why for my outbound flight I am in need of finding an Uber or Lyft driver that is willing to drive 1.5 hours to take me to the airport of the big city that is close by.
It has been three weeks since I have been on this adventure and I call experience because every week that I had come here, a new, different thing happens to me:
The first week I ended up going to urgent care because my mother scared me about my ankle that was swelling.
The second week I had a weird encounter with an intoxicated (alcohol) passenger on my red-eye flight with Delta.
This week I got a fracture on my right elbow.
Yes,  all of these things deserve their own post since it has been a crazy coincidence lol anyways today for the third time Tracy was driving me to the airport and this week there was a big event on this big city.
When we arrived at the airport, she realized that I wouldn't make it ok time since there was traffic to get to the airport.  It was basically blocked. We were waiting to get it around 20 minutes without having a reasonable result so she offered that we could park and walk because she didn't want to miss my flight.
Anyways since I have my fracture, she went about and beyond. She helped me with my bags. It was an easy walk there was a big hill, and we were basically walking against the traffic that was getting out of the airport. It was fun. It was something fun and crazy to remember. She even carried my bags until I was at the counter with the airline agent.
And that only shows how genuine and kind she is.
During our drives, she has shared some stories with me. Stories in which she has helped people, or she has had to deal with difficult situations. She has shared with me how she thinks and how she feels about social issues. You know I haven't asked her political interests, how she defines herself... But I have a feeling that we don't share the same views on that .. however, people like her reminds me that not everything is black and white and that we definitely need to stop letting the media outlets to influence our view of our own kind, we are humans, and we are different, and that is ok. Is everything about respect and caring...
See you next time
